Indiana's Own since 1920 On January 27, 1920, the Home Loan and Savings Association was formed. Its first office was located on South Wabash Street where the Wabash Abstract Company is now located. - -1952 - the Association moved to 55 West Market Street.
- -1966 - a Federal Charter was adopted and the name changed to First Federal Savings and Loan of Wabash.-1968 - North Manchester office opened
- -1977 - Syracuse office opened
- -1982 - home office building at 1205 North Cass Street, Wabash, Indiana, opened
- -1987 - a Mutual Federal Savings Bank Charter was adopted and the name changed to First Federal Savings Bank of Wabash.
- -1989 - First Federal formed a subsidiary company called FirstFed Financial of Wabash. FirstFed offers insurance products and alternative investments, including full brokerage service.
- -1993 - First Federal converted to a Stock Charter and became, along with FirstFed Financial, a wholly owned subsidiary of FFW Corporation. FFW Corporation's common stock is traded on the National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotation (NASDAQ) small-cap market under the symbol "FFWC".
- -1997 - First Federal continued to grow by acquiring a branch office in South Whitley.
- -2004 - Columbia City office opens.
- -2008 - First Federal Savings Bank of Wabash changed its name to Crossroads Bank on January 1, 2008. The name change was a strategic move to allow for growth and expansion into new markets.
